Kwanzaa Cards
$10.00 per pack - 10 Cards

Kwanzaa is a holiday based upon our rich African heritage. We celebrate Kwanzaa from December 26th to January 1st, and during that time we observe the Seven Principles that we believe will benefit our community.

1. Unity (Umoja)
2. Self-Determination (Kujichagulia)
3. Collective Work and Responsibility (Ujima)
4. Cooperative Economics (Ujamaa)
5. Purpose (Nia)
6. Creativity (Kuumba)
7. Faith (Imani)

Let the light of understanding bind us together in Unity and peace for the New Year.

Umoja means unity. By coming together and working together on issues that we have in common, we can accomplish far more than we can as individuals. - X537

“...We have before us not only an opportunity, but an historic duty. It is in our hands to join our strength, taking sustenance from our diversity, honoring our rich and varied traditions and culture, but acting together for the protection and benefit of us all.”
-Kwame Nkrumah

May the coming year be one of great accomplishments for all of us.

Ujima means collective work and responsibility. It is the principle of Kwanzaa that reminds us that we each have a role to play in solving the problems affecting our community. - X541

“To get through the hardest journey, we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping.”

In the coming year may we find the means to make our most positive dreams a reality.

Kujichagulia (Self-Determination) is a critical element for building a strong community. It requires that we take the time and effort to determine the needs of our community and then move in our collective best interests. - X539

“You must learn to make jobs or yourselves so that the next time the boss tells you he does not have any work for you, you can tell hi that you are going to do some work for yourself.” - Honorable Elijah Mohammad

Thank you for your friendship and may we make the coming year one of great accomplishments.

Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics) emphasizes our collective financial strength and how this strength can be called upon to build and support our own businesses. - X543

“It is hard, so difficult to find men who will stick to a purpose, who will maintain a principle, for the good of that purpose, and if there is a race that needs such men in the world today, God Almighty knows it is the race of which I am a member.”
- Marcus Garvey

Holiday Greetings with a special wish that the New Year bring good health, lots of opportunity, and great accomplishments.

Nia (Purpose) it is the principle of Kwanzaa that encourages each of us to look within ourselves and set personal goals which will be beneficial to the community. - X545
